Closer look at Naganadel-GX, Ultra Necrozma-GX, Palkia-GX, Dialga-GX

A Legendary Moment for Pokémon-GX. See the grandeur of Pokémon-GX coming to the Sun & Moon—Forbidden Light expansion.

Pokémon-GX are some of the most powerful cards for battling in the Pokémon Trading Card Game, and they often feature dynamic artwork that makes them just as exciting to show off in a display case or binder. Take a look at the incredible Pokémon-GX coming in the Sun & Moon—Forbidden Light expansion.

Unleashing the Beasts

More Ultra Beasts have traveled through the Ultra Wormhole to join the Pokémon TCG! The Ultra Beast Naganadel-GX makes its bold debut in Sun & Moon—Forbidden Light with a menacing pose that shows it’s ready for battle. And although Necrozma has appeared in other recent expansions, Sun & Moon—Forbidden Light marks the emergence of the luminous Ultra Necrozma-GX.

Precious Jewels

Originally discovered in the Sinnoh region, the Legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia once again shine brightly in the Sun & Moon—Forbidden Light expansion. These two Pokémon-GX are nearly identical to their appearances in Sun & Moon—Ultra Prism, except for their types! While both appeared as Dragon types in the last expansion, Dialga-GXnow bares its razor-sharp claws as a Metal type, while Palkia-GX stands ready to strike with Water-type power.

Kalos Region Royalty

Xerneas, Yveltal, and Zygarde, the Legendary Pokémon originally discovered in the Kalos region, bring both beauty and brawn to this expansion. With its stunning rainbow-colored horns, the brilliant Xerneas-GX displays elegance and power. Yveltal-GX embraces the night, its dark shadow rising under the full moon. And the mysterious Zygarde-GX appears as its Complete Forme, ready to enter battle with all its might!

Anything but Ordinary

Legendary Pokémon and Ultra Beasts may dominate the roster of Pokémon-GX in the Sun & Moon—Forbidden Light expansion, but two other Pokémon-GX are ready for action, too. The Water-type Greninja-GX gets a bit nostalgic with its Shuriken Flurry Ability that’s reminiscent of Abilities from past cards featuring Greninja. And not to be outdone, Lucario-GX strikes a fighting pose as an impressive full-art card in its first appearance in a regular expansion (it first appeared in the Lucario-GX Box).
