The Legendary Pokemon Distributions between Feb. and Nov. for the Pokémon Sun and Moon and Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon games has been revealed. There will be new Pokémon Trading Card Game products featuring Legendary Pokémon, which will include new collections and GX cards.

More details will be announced as the products come closer to release date. The Pokémon TV app will air movies associated with the Legendary Pokémon. There will also be special Legendary Pokémon events for Pokémon GO. Pokémon Shuffle will have two new event stages with Dialga and Palkia which will be available from Feb. 6 until Feb. 13.

The Legendary Pokemon will be distributed to Pokemon SunMoonUltra Sun, and Ultra Moon. Some Pokemon will be distributed through the Internet while others will be given out at stores like Gamestop.

This campaign finally gives an explanation as to why the TCG is featuring regions in each set!

Legendary Pokémon distributions dates

  • Feb. – Dialga or Palkia from Sinnoh. The first distribution will be available in the United States and Ireland at GameStop stores and in the United Kingdom at GAME stores. February is the release of SM5 Ultra Prism, which heavily features Sinnoh Pokemon.  This matches up with the Sinnoh Legendary distributions in February and March (Dialga, Palkia, Regigigas, and Heatran).
  • Mar. – Regigigas or Heatran from Sinnoh
  • April – Raikou or Entei from Johto
  • May – Xerneas or Yveltal from Kalos. We know SM6 Forbidden Light is a Kalos set, releasing in May. This matches up with the Kalos Legendary distributions in May and June (Xerneas, Yveltal, shiny Zygarde).
  • June – Shiny Zygarde from the Kalos and Alola
  • July – Tornadus or Thundurus from Unova
  • Aug. – Groudon or Kyogre from Hoenn
  • Sept. – Latios or Latias from Hoenn
  • Oct. – Reshiram or Zekrom from Unova
  • Nov. – Ho-Oh or Lugia from Johto
